Chris Oyakhilome Background

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is the first child of the Oyakhilomes being born to Tim Oyakhilome and Chris Oyakhilome on 7 th December 1973. http://www.christembassyglasgow.org.uk/ He was a pupil at the secondary and primary school. After that, he went to Ambrose Alli University (AAU) located in Ekpoma, Edo State of Nigeria and graduated with an BSc. In Architecture.

AAU also granted the honorary Doctor of Science prize. He also holds an honorary doctorate in divinity from the Benson Idahosa University. The Reverend Chris was married to Anita Obhodaghe once, and they have two kids.

Chris Oyakhilome’s ministry

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his journey in ministry while at AAU. At the time, the Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship, now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated was known as Youths For Christ (YFC).

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome YFC grew rapidly and was the largest campus church. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Oyakhilome Lagos is the home of the church’s headquarters. The Believer’s LoveWorld is home to millions of associates and followers around the globe.

Through its 2002 atmosphere for miracles show, BLW was the most popular Christian ministry on TV in Africa. The program was cancelled by President Olusegun Obasanjo in May 2004.

The Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF) is a program designed to enhance and develop the leadership potentials Africans. The foundation assists young Africans who exhibit leadership qualities and can positively influence their generation. They accomplish this by teaching and mentoring youth and youth empowerment.

The foundation celebrates the accomplishments of these young leaders through an award ceremony, The Future African Leaders’ Awards. This ceremony is held at the LoveWorld Convocation Arena(LCA) Billings Way Oregun Ikeja. The President of BLW – Reverend Chris Oyakhilome presents an award to the winners.

The InnerCity Mission For Children

The InnerCity Mission for Children is a religious-based non-governmental Organisation (NGO). The NGO was established in 2005 in order to reach vulnerable, poor orphaned children around the world.

Children who are homeless are assisted by the foundation with participatory interventions that include family strengthening programs as also child development programmes.

Trauma Care International Foundation

The Trauma Care International Foundation was established to enhance the quality of life and overall health of communities as well as countries by encouraging better emergency response services in case of incidents and emergency situations. The foundation has been established to help national policies regarding trauma treatment through advocacy, community-based health programs, health education and advocacy.

Chris Oyakhilome Over 1000 trainings in first aid, safety, and emergency management have been conducted by the foundation. The foundation has taught over a thousand instructors, law enforcement officers, caregivers, and road transportation workers.

Volunteer Medical Corps

The Volunteer Medical Corps is an international medical outreach for christians. It provides aid materials medical aid, relief, and also education to refugees as well as internally displaced persons in the affected areas.

The outreach is comprised of a network of christian health workers, paramedics , and students from across the globe. The volunteers offer relief assistance, medical aid and sustainable solutions to people living in areas and communities that are in crisis.
