Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian Christian who was born in December 63 in Edo State. He was raised by his parents, who are loving and caring. He is the oldest child of Elder T.E Oyakhilome and Angelina Oyakhilome. She was the pioneer of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City and a matriarch of the Oyakhilome families. She handed down her divine grace onto her son at an early age.

The LoveWorld ministry is supported by all members of the family. Reverend Ken is Ken’s older brother and is a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome KattyWorghiren (KattyWorghiren) is director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry. This ministry has many gospel artists that are the top-selling worldwide.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his education at Edo College. Chris Oyakhilome Family After a scholarship was awarded to pursue a degree in architecture at Bendel State University (now Ambrose Ali University) He earned an BSc degree in Architecture, and an honorary Doctor of Science. He is also an honorary doctorate of divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was where he discovered his calling to serve the Lord and become a minister.

When he was still at the university, The Man of God founded what would be one of the largest churches worldwide. He established an unassuming prayer group dubbed “Youth for Christ” which would later develop into the most renowned group of its kind on campus. This could also be the foundation for the future Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated, with millions of followers across the world.

Under Pastor Chris’s leadership, LoveWorld became a pioneer of satellite television and Christian programming. LoveWorldSAT is the first Christian TV station to broadcast from Africa, 24 hours a day, via free-to-air networks. There are LoveWorld television stations on cable and satellite networks all over the globe.

Christ Embassy has strong presence in Pastor Chris’s home country of Nigeria, South Africa and Canada. Two Healing Schools are located in South Africa and Canada. There Pastor Chris organizes seasonal sessions that allow miraculous healing to occur.

Music as well as Gospel Music are also an important part of the worship. Pastor Chris encourages Christ Embassy Churches and Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry choir training. Many of these singers are successful soloists under Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s guidance.
