Pastor and faith heaver author, and television host Chris Oyakhilome. In addition to his followers, Pastor Chris is the leader of the organization, founder and president of LoveWorld Incorporated. His unique and inspirational telling of God’s Word has inspired millions all over the world.

Pastor Chris: The Man

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7th 1963 in Edo State in Nigeria. He grew up in a family of faith with loving and dedicated parents. He is the oldest of three sons born to elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founders of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her divine grace upon her son from a young age.

The LoveWorld ministry is comprised of all members of the family. His brother Reverend Ken is the renowned pastor of Christ Embassy’s Houston, Texas Church and an active member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council, and his sister, KattyWorghiren, is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry (LMAM), which is home to several global best-selling gospel artists.

Pastor Chris has two daughters, Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon chose to follow her father’s example of sharing God’s Word with the world. The name is CSO (Community Service Organization) She is a talented gospel singer and is a part of the LoveWorld Music and Arts community.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his studies in Edo College. After a scholarship was granted to pursue a degree in the field of architecture at Bendel State University (now Ambrose Ali University), he earned a BSc degree in Architecture, and an honorary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honorary doctorate in divinity from the Benson Idahosa University. Chris Oyakhilome Biography Ambrose Ali University was his first university. The Man of God created what would eventually be one of the biggest churches in the world when the man was still at a university. It began with an unassuming prayer group known as ‘Youth for Christ’, that eventually grew into one of one of the most well-known organizations of its type on campus. It also served as the basis for the future Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated with millions of followers around the world.

LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television channel that broadcasts 24/7 from Africa through free-to-air channels. Today, LoveWorld television stations are available on satellite and cable networks around the world.

Oyakhilome Christ Embassy has a strong presence in Pastor Chris’s home country of Nigeria, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States. The ministry has two Healing Schools located in South Africa and Canada, in which Pastor Chris holds seasonal sessions where the power of God is demonstrated.

Music and Gospel Music are an important part of worship. Pastor Chris is a strong advocate for Christ Embassy Churches and Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry choir to train. Many of the singers are successful soloists under Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s supervision.

The Future African Leaders Foundation (FALF) is an organization that is focused on sustaining the inspirational work of Pastor Chris. It’s focused on developing and recognizing the next generation of leaders and helping them become successful in the future. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, a fervent social entrepreneur and founder of the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation international (COFI) that is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that has the goal of helping the most vulnerable individuals and communities in the least developed countries and regions across the globe.

Alongside preaching the Gospel, the Man of God has established NGOs with an aim of providing vital services and hope to the in need, the poor, and forgotten souls. COFI is a partnership with five other organizations that have a common goal of raising living standards in the areas that are the least developed.

The InnerCity Mission for Children The InnerCity Mission for Children, the Volunteer Medical Corps(VMC), Traga Care International Foundation [TCIF], Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF) and Bible For All Mission are all under COFI. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Bible For All Mission, the Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF), and COFI umbrella. Each organization works to improve lives, health and spirits for those in dire need.

His charitable organization offers food and shelter to the poor. Pastor Chris believes in the development of strong communities by promoting good governance and accountable leadership. In line with the Sustainable Development Goals, Pastor Chris also promotes sustainable development in Africa and other fragile areas of Africa through COFI. With an impressive and diverse ministry, it is clear why Pastor Chris has become an ambassador for Christ.
